Pressure builds with the handle and holds long enough to empty most of the tank in one go; a safety valve releases if it goes too far. Rinse the tank, lance and nozzle with clean water after every use, especially after any treatment. Release the pressure before opening the tank. Store empty with the lid loose so the seal keeps its shape.
